Day, SD is a small town located in the northern region of the state. With a population of 114 people, Day offers a quaint and rural atmosphere while still providing its residents with numerous amenities and services. Local businesses include The Day Café, which serves classic diner food that has been popular in the area since 1946, Uncle Tom’s General Store, which offers everything from groceries to home décor and hardware supplies, and D&L Barber Shop where locals can get haircuts at reasonable prices.
The town’s Parks & Recreation Department provides year-round outdoor activities such as hiking trails, basketball courts, soccer fields and playgrounds for children. In addition, several organizations serve local residents including the Day Lions Club which works to support charitable projects within the community and the Historical Society Of Day which keeps alive the city’s proud history.
For those interested in sports events there are several local clubs that offer recreational activities such as baseball teams like The North Dakota Rattlers or football teams like The Dayridge Dawgs. Additionally each summer Day hosts an annual rodeo competition that attracts many visitors from surrounding towns.
